View Time Collector Mappings

You can view Time Collector MappingsEntity in WFM that maps the reason code of a data source with an organization's activities. for each activity of an organization. Time Collector Mappings link reason codes sent from data sources to Workforce ManagementProduct that helps measure and leverage the individual talents and preferences of each employee, uniquely ensures that their skills and each one’s proficiency are aligned with business objectives and customer needs, and helps produce optimum schedules. activities.

Procedure

Go to: Work Administration. Under Activities, select Time Collector Mapping.

From the left pane, select the organization for which you want to view Time Collector Mappings.

On the Time Collector Mappings screen, view the following:

Data SourceAn abstract definition of a source of a contact state, device state, or agent state information that an integration will plug into, such as a customer's switch or a screen recording system. Data sources are used with various applications within the Enterprise Suite and Workforce Optimization Suite, such as Workforce Management, Scorecards, Interactions, and Speech Analytics.: Name of the data source that sends the reason code to the Time Collector module in WFMWorkforce Management product in the system that helps measure and leverage the individual talents and preferences of each employee, uniquely ensures that their skills and each one’s proficiency are aligned with business objectives and customer needs, and helps produce optimum schedules..

Reason Code: Text description of the event mode or event reason pairs sent by the data source as a record of employee states.

ActivityRepresents the types of work an employee can perform in Workforce Management, but also include other states, such as a break, meeting or anything else a person may be tracked doing during the workday.: WFM activity to which the reason code is mapped by the Time Collector.

Owner Organization: Name of the organization that owns the Time Collector Mapping.

Where a mapping exists, all columns have values. Dashed lines indicate either an unmapped activity or reason code. For example, if the Activity column has dashes, the reason code is not mapped to an activity. If the Reason Code column has dashes, the activity is not mapped to a reason code.

To view additional information about a data source, highlight the data source and select Data Source

The Data Source Selector screen displays a Description, Time Zone and Type of the data source.

If you are using data sources scoped by organization, the Data Source Selector is limited to data sources associated with the selected organization and its ancestors, and data sources of types not configured with a data source.

To view additional information about a reason code, highlight the data source with the reason code and select View Reason CodesRepresentation of an external data source event in WFM, which consists of an Event Mode and Event Reason. For example, the event mode, 5, could be the data source identifier for some kind of unavailability. The event reason, Lunch, further qualifies the data to mean that the employee has entered a state of unavailable because of their Lunch break..

The system goes to Integration Management, Data Sources, and Reason Codes to display detailed information about the reason code.
